Aliso Niguel’s Girls’ Soccer team is dominating the field as the 2025 season is in full force and their League competition continues progressing. The team currently ranks fourth in the South Coast League.
So far this season, the girls have won one game, lost two and tied another two in their League matches. Looking at the season overall, the players also on a broker scale, hold seven victories, five losses and three ties. These are the current winning statistics for the team’s year.
League began for the team on Jan. 7 and this was an exciting game day for not only these soccer players but also for all of the Wolverines. It was an intense home game against San Clemente High School at the Aliso Niguel stadium that resulted in a tie with a final score of 0-0.
The team competed against San Clemente again on Jan. 21. This time it was an away game; however, it still ended the same as their first match against each other as the final score was another tie of 0-0.
The two lost League games this season took place on Jan. 14 and Jan. 16. On Jan. 14, the team competed against Trabuco Hills High School in a home match that ended with a score of 2-0. On Jan. 16, the team played against Capistrano Valley High School in an away game that was lost by one goal. This game’s final record was 2-1.
However, the Wolverines celebrated a triumphant victory on Jan. 11. The team was ecstatic that game day as they defeated San Juan Hills in an away game that ended with a score of 1-0.
Leading the team again this year is Head Coach Marco Spaccini and helping him as one of the team captains is Alaina Villa (12).
When reflecting upon her final soccer season at Aliso Niguel as a four-year Varsity player, Villa stated, “Our season has been really good so far because we have a ton of fun on and off the field.”
This notable player also stated, “I hope that we can win the next four League games because that would put us in a good spot for CIF… and I look forward to future wins and other events with my teammates!”
Another valuable asset to the team is Bayley Legget (12), and when she was asked about her hopes and goals for this soccer season at Aliso, she responded, “I hope to have a very fun season and to win League and CIF with my team!”
Many other players on the team, in fact, most of the players on the team, share the same common goal as Legget and are driven by it this season. Aliso Niguel’s soccer players are continuing to put in loads of effort and hard work to be able to play at a high level and to the best of their abilities.
While they do so, the Den also continues to fill up with family, friends, fellow Wolverines and fellow soccer players from Aliso’s Boys soccer team. Many are ecstatic about the 2025 Aliso Niguel Girls soccer season and come to support the beloved team.
