On Sept. 13, 2021, the Met Gala, one of the most fashionable nights of the year was held. This event features the gathering of the most famous stars, who come together to fundraise for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. 

Usually, this event is held on the first of May, but this year, due to COVID-19, the event organizers pushed the date back. 

This year’s theme was American Fashion, and the celebrities came to the event in a variety of interesting outfits.. So let’s take a look at some of the most impressive looks of the night.

Let’s start with the iconic Rihanna dressed in Balenciaga Couture, Maria Tash, Thelema West, and BVLGARI jewelry. It was an all-black look paired with silver jewelry, while A$AP Rocky wore ELR. Her outfit was a bright red, yellow, blue, and green patterned coverup.

Next, the celebrities Whoopi Goldberg, Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Carey Mulligan appeared entirely in Valentino. Goldberg wore a bright purple and blue dress, with Piccioli wearing a classic black suit with a bow tie, and Mulligan rocking a bright pink, strapless dress.

Normani wore a bright yellow Valentino dress, paired with jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz. CL in Alexander Wang, a denim hanbok style cover with white shorts. Lili Reinhart was in a pink flowery strapless Christian Siriano dress, paired with Jimmy Choo shoes.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello wore Micheal Kors collection with Jimmy Choo shoes. Mendes was shirtless in an all-black suit, while Cabello wore a purple two-piece dress. Winnie Harloe wore an Iris van Herpen bodysuit that was black and white.

Of course, you cannot talk about the Met Gala without describing the Jenners or the Kardashians. Kendall Jenner wore a Givenchy nude and rhinestone dress. Kim Kardashian came to the event in an all-black Balenciaga that covered her head to toe. Kris Jenner wore an all-black Tom Ford suit, paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
