2026 is a big year for popular artists around the globe. Artists like BTS, Harry Styles, Nick Jonas and Bruno Mars are marking their comebacks with upcoming releases that fans are greatly anticipating.
New music is not the only thing that will bombard 2026. These artists have planned and worked on countless promotions and world tours to really emphasize their comebacks as artists.
Global icons BTS are finally back from the military as promised and are currently preparing for their new album, “Arirang,” which is dropping on March 20.
The band has been on hiatus as they were completing military service in South Korea, a mandatory requirement of male South Korean citizens. Although the members were actively putting out music and promoting their solo careers, it has been two and a half years since they have released music as a group.
Kate Walker (10) says, “I’m really excited for the new BTS album. I loved their solo music but it is definitely time for them to come back as a group.”
Because of this, everyone is highly anticipating their big comeback. The group also announced an upcoming tour occurring from April 2026 to March 2027, hitting 34 cities and 23 different countries. Ticket sales for the tour went on sale during the week of January 20, with all stadiums, such as SoFi and Wembley Stadium, to be sold out in an average of less than thirty minutes.
The name of their upcoming album, “Arirang,” is inspired by a traditional Korean folk song and is a 14-track album that focuses on identity, roots and connection.
Another March album drop that has been highly anticipated is Harry Styles’ “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” which is scheduled for March 6. The 12-track album is produced by Kid Harpoon and was teased via Styles’ pre-release single “Aperture.”
The single was an instant hit as it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and also topped other music charts as well. This album follows the massive success of “Harry’s House,” which won Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammys, so fans are looking forward to the next pieces Styles has to offer.
Bruno Mars will release his fourth studio album, “The Romantic,” on Feb. 27 and will also be supported by a world stadium tour. This new album signals Mars’ return to his solo, funk-pop, and R&B roots after his success with Silk Sonic.
Another notable artist who has been working hard during 2025 to produce new music is Nick Jonas, who will be releasing his fifth solo album on Feb. 6. The album is preceded by the single “Gut Punch” and addresses themes of self-reflection and personal growth.
Jonas stated that the album is on a different level emotionally as he is entering a new chapter in his life: fatherhood.
“I hope that Nick gets the recognition and streams he deserves,” states Molly Stoos (11). “He is a really great artist and I think this album will promote that.”
There are many other great artists who will be releasing music in 2026 such as Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Madonna and A$AP Rocky; music fans not just in America but around the world are hopefully going to be very satisfied with the different sounds, lyrics and messages to be made.
