Here at Aliso Niguel there are many captivating cars you can find while walking around in the parking lot. While most are seemingly ordinary cars in our parking lot, a few stand out because of their rarity and their unique customizations.
The Aliso Niguel parking lot is home to a wide variety of cars ranging from your regular sedans to muscle cars, off-road vehicles and classic cars. There are many cars to choose from, but I choose the top three cars that are the most appealing.
Starting off the list is Wyatt McKean’s (12) 2004 Subaru Impreza wrx limited. Wyatt purchased his car for $7200 by working multiple side jobs and with the help of his parents.
He has made many customizations to his car, most notably a HKS catback exhaust, a cobb short ram intake with a post MAF hose and stage 1 tune. The most prominent features of his car are the 17×8 RTX R spec stags. These are the golden rims that really make the car standout.
Wyatt comments on his car, saying, “I like my car because of the smile it puts on your face when you step on the gas and feel the sudden surge in power when boost kicks in and holds all the way until the redline. The AWD system also makes it really great for gripping the road which allows you to take corners with ease.”
Wyatt takes his Subaru out to shows like Cars and Coffee and Tuner Fridays. Sadly, he has not been able to take his car out too often as of recently because school started back up.
Another car occasionally found around school is the classic 1968 mustang coupe in white. This classic car is owned and worked on by the Turner family, most prominently Hudson Turner (12). It was bought all the way back in 1978 by his Father for $1000.
Despite the car’s age, it is in great condition and is taken out on a drive almost everyday. Hudson also says that he takes his car out to shows with his father.
Hudson Turner comments, “I love this car, it has been with my family for a couple decades and it holds a special place in our hearts. I love driving it around and taking it to shows and seeing everyone crowd around talking about my car.”
Another amazing car in our parking lot is the 2010 lifted Jeep Wrangler owned and driven by Leyla Pfeiffer (11). Most of the car has been redone with a wide range of customizations.
The car is very big and stands out amongst the cars in the lot. She drives the car from place to place and to have fun on the off roads.
When asked her thoughts on the car, Leyla states, “I like this car because it is big and not basic. If a small car hits me, their car would be totaled and I would barely have a scratch. Off road vehicles own the road!”
