The class of 2022 is looking forward and not backward. For many, it is their first time being on campus since the first semester of their sophomore year.

The school has been working hard to bring some fun events to the school year.

  One of those activities was Senior Sunrise held on Aug. 23. There was a breakfast burrito truck and donuts for seniors to enjoy while they watched the sunrise with their friends.

  About 200 seniors woke up early to watch the sunrise together and commemorate the start of the new school year.

  This year the seniors will also participate in an end of the year  Senior Sunset, where the seniors will get together to watch the sunset, representing the end of their high school careers.

  The next senior event is homecoming which is on Sept. 24, so save the date!

  Including other dances of the year, Winter Formal will be on Feb. 5 and Prom will be held on May 21, according to the school website.

  There is of course Graduation, which will take place on June 2, 2022. The day after, June 3, 2022, is Grad Nite where seniors will be going to Universal Studios.

  For Grad Nite, the busses will be leaving at 1:00 pm on the third and will not return until the next morning at 4:00 am. Tickets will be $135 from July 19, 2021 to April 30, 2022.

  Tickets will be $150 from May 1, 2022 to June 3, 2022. Make sure to get your tickets soon in case they sell out!

  Seniors will have the park in an exclusive after-hours event to be able to ride as many rides as possible. There will also be photo ops throughout the park that are specially themed for graduation.

  Along with that there will be live musical performances and dance parties hosted by DJs.

  This is the last year of our high school careers before we have to start our adult life, so we should have as much fun as we can before the end of the year. Make as many memories as you can, before we all start the next chapter of our lives.
