On Friday, March 19, 2021, Disney released its second mini-series of the year, Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Many were highly anticipating the release.

The story takes place after the end of “Avengers: Endgame.” The audience follows Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), who is the Falcon, and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), who is the Winter Soldier, as they team up for an adventure that tests their skills and their patience.

As of this moment there are five episodes varying from 50 to 60 minutes long. There are new episodes being released every Friday. With that being said, there are a lot of mixed feelings and reviews about this new mini-series.

Some are super excited, as they get to learn more about the two protagonists and see the crazy adventure that they go on. Also they are excited to see where the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the MCU, will bring heading in the future, as “Avengers: Endgame” was the end of phase three.

Many are happy with the acting and the editing of the series. Some see it as a continuation of the end of “Avengers: Endgame.” They are excited to get more to see more of these characters and their very sophisticated backgrounds and stories.

They are also happy with the character development that the two characters have gone through, just in the first episode. Some of the highest ratings were 10 out of 10. Many are pleasantly surprised with the plot of the story so far, wanting more.

But there are many who are unhappy with the show. Some think that it is too boring and unoriginal. These critics also feel that the show is too predictable and uninteresting as well, while others think it is too political.

Some believe that the racial issues presented in the show are unnecessary to the plot and are really throwing off the show, whether they like it or not. People think that the film should be focusing on the characters and how their stories are developing in the MCU.

Others do not seem to understand the plot of the show. Some are questioning whether it is about the building of the friendship between the Falcon and the Winter Soldiers, or if it is about the characters fixing their own issues. They are also confused about whether it is focused on Sam accepting the fact that he is going to have to step into the role of Captain America.

Some feel as though the story is being forced and is not as natural as previous films. They feel as though the show is just a filler for new MCU movies that are going to come out in the beginning of the fourth phase of the universe.

While these are just some opinions, the judge of your opinions is solely you: so go ahead and buy some tickets!
