With the new Covid guidelines coming out regarding high school football it has made football come out with a starting schedule for this year. Aliso Niguel’s varsity football’s first game will be away at Tesoro High School on March 19th 2021. Aliso Niguel’s varsity football team’s first home game will be April 2nd against Trabuco High School. 

 There are high hopes for this year’s football team especially because of their hard work despite the ongoing pandemic.

  With their schedule coming out they must follow some Covid Guidelines including: no team meals, no busses, no shared locker rooms, no snack bar, and limited fans. Those who are invented have been restricted to only close family. There also might possibly be weekly COVID tests if we are still over 7/100,000 cases. These rules are hard to hear as some of them make up the highschool experience however many prefer this over no season at all.

  Aliso Niguel varsity football team captains for the year 2021 are Evan Comiskey, Trevor Ramaldo, Trevor Yamaguchi, and Ayden Brown. Fans and more are excited to see what the captains have in store for their 2021 season. 

  Lastly, When asked Coach Calahan what he was looking to improve from last year he replied, “We want to be a more balanced team. We want to be more physical and competitive.” With this statement we hope to see many things from the Aliso Niguel varsity football team.
