It is an exciting time for Aliso students, especially for the class of 2025, as the school year is coming to an end. Seniors are finishing up their final year at Aliso and getting ready to graduate.
The graduation ceremony will be held at the Wolverine Stadium on June 5. The gates to the stadium will open at 2:30 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Every senior will be given five free tickets for the graduation ceremony. Seniors will receive their five tickets at the mandatory graduation rehearsal, which will take place on June 4.
If needed, seniors can buy up to five extra tickets for $12 per ticket. Extra tickets will become available for sale on May 13. Seniors will only be able to buy their tickets in person at the ASB kiosk in the food court. No tickets will be sold online.
Andreanna Javing (12) expresses, “I’m excited to graduate, but getting the graduation tickets is the most stressful part, because I want to make sure that I have enough tickets for all of my family.”
Seniors are limited to only five additional tickets for the first two weeks, and then unlimited tickets can be purchased starting May 27. Tickets will be available for purchase until they are sold out.
It is important for seniors to start figuring out how many tickets they will need to purchase because these tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis.
Ava Dargert (12) says, “I am going to need to buy the extra tickets for all my family to be there to cheer me on. I am so excited to graduate, and I feel like high school went by so fast. It is hard to believe that graduation is so soon.”
Parking is always tough for graduation. Something new this year is that all graduating seniors will be given one ticketed parking spot in the ANHS parking lot for a guest. Other parking will be available along Wolverine Way, Deerhurst or Aliso Viejo Parkway.
Seniors must park off campus. Another new aspect this year for seniors is that they are required to park at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Shuttle buses will take graduates from the church to the stadium.
The buses will start transporting graduates at 1:45 p.m., and end at 2:45 p.m.
Graduates must check-in before the graduation ceremony. Check-in will begin at 2:15 p.m. and all graduates need to be checked in by 3:00 p.m. The check-in tables are located next to the baseball field, which is behind the football stadium.
The graduation ceremony will recognize the hard work and accomplishments of all 645 students in the class of 2025. It is estimated that the ceremony will last approximately an hour and a half.
Sydney Graham (12) says, “It’s crazy how fast senior year went. I feel ready to graduate and I can’t wait for this next part of my life.”
With graduation being less than a month away, Aliso seniors are preparing to finish this chapter of their lives and getting ready to begin the next.
