The Aliso Niguel’s boys volleyball team plays against Laguna Beach High School on March 24. Aliso Niguel claimed the first set and it ended 25-20.
Their second set was a close match, but Laguna Beach claimed it at 22-25.
In the third set, it was even closer and resulted in 23-25, Laguna Beach claiming another point.
By set four, Aliso Niguel claimed another victory at 25-20.
The over score was 2-2 and Aliso Niguel put up a tough battle against Laguna Beach. The tension grew on and off the court for both teams.
However, the last set was won by Laguna beach resulting in 2-3 scores overall.
Caleb Solomon (12) says, “We put up a tough fight this game, but we could’ve played harder. It was a close call. We just have to practice harder and play harder for our next games.”
Aliso Niguel put up a tough battle against Laguna Beach and lost by a close point.
In March, they previously played Beckman High School, JSerra Catholic High School, Capistrano Valley High School, Tesoro High School and San Clemente High School.
On March 7, they competed against JSCHS and lost 3-0. March 11, they resulted in a close win against CVHS at 3-2.
On March 13, against Tesoro High School, they lost 3-0, but put up a tough fight. Finally, March 20 they played San Clemente and lost 0-3.
Aliso Niguel is currently 6-14 overall this season.
They have an upcoming game against Trabuco Hills on March 27 and April 1 against Tesoro High School once again.
