A brand-new MINISO location opened in the Aliso Town Center. It is a 10-minute walk from Aliso Niguel High School. It is a Chinese company that tries to represent trendy Japanese products. Most items are budget-friendly and they sell a variety of products from cute stationery to fun accessories.
MINISO is a great place for those interested in trendy Kawaii products. This store sells minimalistic home décor, quirky gifts, unique items and even beauty products.
Before, the nearest MINISO store was located in The Shops at Mission Viejo or the Irvine Spectrum. Although not very far, it was still a 20-minute drive. Now, MINISO is within 10 walking minutes and is easily accessible. Many appreciate the convenience as now, there is no hassle to buy the new trendy products.
MINISO was founded by Ye Guofu whose goal is to “…improve the social quality consumption patterns, bringing a brand new business model in China…”(MINISO). In order to combat the growing counterfeit products as the market grows, MINISO was created to provide reliable, high-quality products.
Since it is in Aliso Town Center, this could be a new stop whenever students hang out with their friends. There are restaurants, a movie theater, and shops like Trader Joe’s right near the location, making it very convenient.
As it is nearing the holiday season, the new MINISO store is great for holiday shopping. Prices are fairly low with many products being under $20.
Many students have yet to hear this news as there was not a grand opening. As the exciting news spreads, it is a perfect time for students to go with their friends, hang out and purchase gifts for the holiday season.
