On Sept. 5, 2024, a new Wingstop opened at 27360 Alicia Parkway, replacing Coco’s restaurant which has not been occupied since it closed.
Wingstop is a fast-growing restaurant chain that has been gaining popularity throughout the nation. The fast food restaurant is known for its flavorful wings, chicken sandwiches, and fries. By 2002, the business had already served the world one billion wings. Wingstop gained attraction on social media platforms as well, especially on TikTok. Various TikTok users enjoy watching content on mukbangs.
Wingstop was first established in 1994, where it quickly gained attention due to its customer service and outstanding food. In 1997, Wingstop began to offer franchises, and now is one of the fastest-growing concepts in the country.
According to the property manager, the Starbucks that was also in the shopping center was switched right next door to Wingstop. However, there is one major change to the Starbucks. They have included a drive-through. This new feature will attract customers with a convenient way to get to Starbucks quickly. If you are in a rush, the drive-through will be perfect for you.
Conveniently, these new attractions are local to the school, which helps the two businesses succeed with customers each day. These new additions to the plaza are around a 30-minute walk from school, a 12-minute bike ride, and a four-minute car ride. Both places are easily accessible to students.
One student, Aiden Logarta (10) is very pleased with his experience at Wingstop as he says “I bike there, and go there with my friends, it’s pretty fun. There’s so many people there, but the food is pretty good.”
Students like Logarta enjoy the new attraction as an after school hang out spot. Whether you would want to eat, talk with friends, study: whatever the circumstance is, Wingstop would be an ideal spot for Aliso Niguel students, since it’s extremely accessible.
Another student, Xochi Ponce (10) provides her feedback as she says, “There’s a lot of people, but overall the food is one of the best qualities at Wingstop. The workers are very welcoming and always greet customers as they walk in. I also think its smart how they added Starbucks next to Wingstop.”
Various students at our high school are satisfied with their experience so far at Wingstop and Starbucks. Both businesses seem to be having a successful start. Both Wingstop and Starbucks have been filled with customers.
One of the most recommended meals at Wingstop is the “Boneless Meal Deal” which consists of 20 boneless wings including large fries. The meal feeds two to three people, however, the meal is incredibly great for its price.
Another great recommendation is the “All In Bundle” which can feed two to four people. The meal includes 16 boneless wings, six crispy tenders with up to four flavors, large fries, and three dips.
As of now, Wingstop has a 4.5 star rating, and Starbucks has a 5 star rating. The crew for both places are known to be friendly. If you are looking for a new place to try, feel free to visit the new Wingstop and Starbucks.
