Better Buzz Coffee is a coffee shop that recently opened in Laguna Hills, off of La Paz Road and MacKenzie Street. This coffee shop opened its first location in San Diego in 2002 and has been expanding throughout California since.
The owners of the coffee shop, Stephanie Garden and Tim Langdon share, “Better Buzz Coffee Company is committed to providing consistent quality coffee beverages in a fun atmosphere, with efficient & friendly customer service. We are dedicated to the freshest possible coffee by roasting and delivering coffee weekly to our stores and customers.”
The atmosphere of Better Buzz immediately transports customers into a buzzing atmosphere filled with the recurring bee theme of black and yellow coloring and the hexagons placed all throughout their shop. The location is also filled with the fresh scent of coffee as they are one of the few coffee shops that roast their coffee beans every morning before the work day begins.
The shop has a drive through and a patio so customers can not only enjoy their coffee from the store, but on the go as well.
Better Buzz provides drinks such as Snickerdoodle Latte and Caramel Lattes, a sweet way to start any morning. They provide several bakery items like a passionfruit croissant and a wide variety of danishes. Better Buzz also offers a wide selection of breakfast foods, including breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast.
When talking to other customers at the location one shared, “My favorite part of Better Buzz is how they are different from any other coffee shop. These days we are so used to Starbucks and not so much smaller coffee shops. I love how authentic Better Buzz is and how they actually roast their coffee unlike most chain coffee shops.”
Better Buzz is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., which means they wake up before dawn to ensure customers have the freshest coffee and provide the best experience.
Alongside happy customers was the group of amazing employees; their dedication and passion for their jobs was palpable. Every single barista was rushing from place to place with smiles on their faces and made sure all drinks were made with perfection. Efficiency was evident throughout the group of employees as it took no more than three minutes for drinks to be finished, no matter if they were iced or hot. Better Buzz also has managers at each location, identifiable by their pink hats.
Better Buzz is a location made for everything. They provide an environment filled with joy and fun that makes customers admire all their work and continue to return to their location.
The addition of this coffee shop to Laguna Hills will allow people from Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, and Mission Viejo, in addition to Laguna Hills, to all have accessibility to this freshly roasted coffee and environment open to all.
