Team Captain Mozamel Hamid (12) exclaimed, “I’m really proud of our team this season and how hard we fought despite all our injuries and setbacks. Losing in the playoffs was disappointing, but getting 21 wins and winning two tournaments was a testament to how hard we worked and I’m glad it went the way it did.”
It was a hard game as it marked the end of the season for boys basketball.
Garrett Trayer (12), team captain reported that “the season was really great. Winning 21 games is very hard and our team was able to accomplish that which is special. The last game was very hard to be honest, they were a very good team and we knew we had to play very well to beat them, and they outplayed us overall. But this team is super special, we love being around each other and all share a special bond so it sucks that the season had to come to an end.”
Overall, the Wolverines are ranked 220 in California and 51 in California Division 2. They were also second place in the Sea View League. The team is now preparing for and getting ready to do better next season.
