Back in Aug., Starbucks launched its new and improved fall menu for the season! Not only was this an exciting event for the baristas, but also a fan-favorite day for those who love to spice up their Halloween spirit with the new arrangement of drinks!
Launch day began with a non stop flow of customers, some of whom sold out the whole store! Barista Emily Rodrigo says “On launch day, we sold out of all foods except for our impossible sandwich. All of the customers were so excited about our new releases, especially the pumpkin chai latte!”
The new release of Starbucks’s Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte has fans head over heels. Another barista stated that the new release brought their ranks up 16 percent!
“As a barista, our most popular fall drinks this season are the pumpkin chai cream latte and our pumpkin spice latte. In Sept., we had an event every Thursday where it was buy one get one free fall drink! The offer was very successful and our seasonal specialties have been a fan favorite item ever since release,” says Kate Maria.
Along with the new release, Starbucks felt generous enough to host another event called “BOGO Day.” Buy one fall drink get one fall drink day! This event began in Sept. and lasted throughout the month every Thursday.
Customers came piling in, which also meant a double load of work for the baristas. Doing double the work is a tough job for the baristas, although no matter what it brings so much delight to the baristas to make someone’s day!
Students on campus are enjoying this event as many are seen walking to class in the morning with a fall Starbucks drink in their hands. One of these students, Fran McVerry (12) says “The pumpkin chai with the pumpkin cream cold foam is the best fall drink and seasonal drink ever period.”
This opinion is shared by many students as well. Along with their pumpkin drinks, Starbucks also released a new assortment of apple-flavored drinks. These consist of their Apple Oatmilk Macchiato, the Apple Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, and Apple Spice Frappucino, you name it!
Although these drinks may not be as popular as the pumpkin drinks, the flavor of apple along with the pumpkin is just like you are sipping fall right out of a cup.
Starbucks’s fall launch has remained a success every year, and will hopefully continue to uphold this legacy in the upcoming years of it’s business.
