Aliso’s Social Media

At Aliso Niguel High School, students are proud to post their events, outings and sports games all over social media. The constant online school spirit shows the students pride in their school.

Social media is a great way for students to connect with their peers online and interact with others. Students can use social media to promote their school, club and sports events for all to see. There are countless reasons why social media continues to benefit our students including connection with the community, news about the school and special event notifications.

Each class that graduates from Aliso Niguel High School has an Instagram page that students are encouraged to follow to stay up to date with upcoming events and themes. Additionally, almost every sports team on campus has an Instagram page where they post their upcoming games, fundraisers and special events.

Some students are unaware of the various pages and are missing out on valuable information posted on social media. Homecoming themes, dress-up days and other school events are almost always posted on social media.

Addison Breymann, a junior at Aliso, says, “They’re pretty good at promoting recent news.” There are countless social media accounts ANHS has and they are all reporting on different news in and around our school. Following the social media accounts will add to your high school experience and allow you to join a new community. Breyamann also says that they “[should] try to direct [social media] more to teens and things we find intriguing.” Although they might not always be talking about the latest iPhone, new shoe releases and other personal interests, it would be a great idea to follow the pages.

Social media has been proven to unify people regardless of age, gender or race. We would love for you to be a part of our growing community! The school newspaper has social media too! Search “ The Growling Wolverine” on Instagram and you’ll be on your way to keeping up with us! We will be posting everything from school news to new establishments in and around the Aliso Viejo area.

This is Jaslene’s 1st year in Newspaper as a sophomore at Aliso. At school she is on the girls track and volleyball teams and looks to win CIF for track in numerous events. She hopes to participate in photography for the Growling Wolverine to further her skills in the art.

Jolie Allen, Photographer

Jolie is a senior at Aliso Niguel High School and is thrilled for the last year of High School and to make the best out of it. She is hoping to make a lot of friends and to go to all the senior events that Aliso Niguel is hosting. In Jolie’s free time she likes to write, read, and spend time with her niece.
