Taste of Aliso Niguel is Fast Approaching
In a few weeks, the Taste of Aliso Niguel will be here and tickets are on sale now. On Apr. 23, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., people of ages 21 and over are allowed to enjoy the festivities. From live music to restaurants offering their specialties, it is most definitely going to be an exciting event.
This Taste offers a lot of support to the clubs and sports of Aliso Niguel, which is why many are selling tickets now. In most situations, a team buys a certain amount of tickets and the members are expected to sell them to family or friends and they receive that money for their group. Each ticket costs 60 dollars for entry, but 70 dollars at the door.
The Parents for Aliso Niguel (PFAN) say that “The parents and students of Aliso Niguel High School appreciate your support.” Sports teams such as Football and Girls Basketball and Softball are asking for help on social media platforms and through their families. They also have the opportunity to provide baskets or gifts for the silent auction that give money back to the school as well.
It has been a few years since the last Taste of Aliso Niguel was held and this year it will be in the Old Lowe’s Building which provides a very open, indoor space for people to enjoy. Many restaurants are able to join and offer their specialties, which gives them extra publicity as well. There is also live entertainment including Redneck Rodeo, who will be offering a fun lesson on line dancing and Gina Kessler and accompanist.
The PFAN’s current president, Jayme Brittingham says that “Taste of Aliso Niguel is the largest school wide fundraiser organized to benefit our ANHS sports, organizations, and clubs”. It also takes on another fitting name, which is The Party of the Year. Parents are also given the opportunity to donate their own belongings to the silent auction tables such as cars, trips, and any beauty products or gift cards.
People can drop off these items at the Aliso Niguel student store from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. There is also an opportunity to purchase a VIP table that includes seating for ten people and tickets for drinks. This table costs 500 dollars, but does not include admission into the event.
A few restaurants that have reserved their spots are Fresh Brothers, Dave and Busters, Pavilions, and Bricco. A current Silver Sponsor for the Taste of Aliso Niguel is Smart and Final and a Gold Sponsor CR&R Incorporated. These certain sponsors give even more opportunities to the students and allow them to prosper.
The Taste will be here before you know it so buy your tickets now and get ready for this exciting event!
