Brennan Foody Wins OC Athlete of the Week
Throughout his time running, Brennan Foody(12) is known to be a formidable force.
He recently won the Orange County boys athlete of the week on September 28, 2021.
This is considered a pretty big deal, as there is only one athlete picked out of the entire county.
Other than the recognition he has received, he has great talent, finishing in second place at the Dana Hills Invitational, with a time of 14:44.70. In cross country, this meet is known to be one of the biggest in Southern California. This is made even more significant by the race being the Division 1 Senior Boys Invitational race.
Foody is known to be a hard and dedicated person when it comes to his running career so far, and is constantly looking to improve.
He recently obtained a new personal record for himself at the Woodbridge Classic meet, which took place on Friday, September 17th, placing eleventh but finishing with a time of 14:26.30. This marks another significant improvement for Foody, and shows that all his hard work, training, and practicing is definitely paying off.
As a senior, this will be Foody’s last year running for Aliso Niguel, but will hopefully accept a college offer if he so wishes, as signing day is coming up soon.
