Aliso Niguel’s Theatre Company is welcoming the season with their fall production of Puffs, a play to be presented from Thursday, November 4-6.
Puffs is, “the story of Wayne Hopkins: a regular boy who finds out he’s a wizard and goes to school in England where he makes two best friends and has adventures. This perhaps sounds familiar. But, Wayne is sorted as a Puff, he and the other Puffs simply want to learn how to be wizards and avoid attacks by evil wizards,” according to the Theatre Company’s website.
The show is described to be a humorous twist on the Harry Potter story we all know and love.
Actor Shay Seymour(11), who plays Wayne Hopkins, states that the show is, “great, especially coming out of COVID-19. It’s humorous, and audiences will leave with a smile on their face.”
When asked about the opening of the show he also adds, “the energy from the audience is uplifting and positive, and I’m looking forward to being a part of that again.”
The Aliso Niguel Theatre Company has been working hard in their first non-virtual production in two years.
Sound director Mia Romero(11), says that “we’ve all been working so hard, and I’m excited for everyone to see the payoff.”
The production is now in its final stages of rehearsal, and is ready to be unveiled to audiences soon!
